Corrections in Spring catalogue

Due to an undetected error in the template

there are several errors and omissions in

the course descriptions for which we apologize.

Page 11: #119: Yoga, Beginning Practice

begins Thursday, May 2nd

Page 11: #120 Balance Training

should be scratched. It is correctly

listed as #128 on page 14.

Page 22: “Helpful Advice” should be scratched.

It is printed in error from the fall

catalogue. The correct “Helpful Advice”

begins on page 26.

Additionally, we need to scratch the course #127

Poker for Adults taught by Rob Vermette

listed on page 14. Mr. Vermette has

accepted a new job and is unavailable

during the spring term.

And, we need to add this course description for

Ken Ely’s course, Stone-Wall Restoration

which is listed in the Table of Contents

but not under the course descriptions:

“Ken Ely is a heritage craftsman, an artisan, a restorer

and constructor of dry-laid fieldstone walls. This is a

special opportunity for a hands-on experience with

Ken providing the narration and demonstrating the

techniques for restoring a stone wall. Students will be

expected to work alongside Ken with a section of wall

he has chosen to restore. Wear sturdy shoes and

durable gloves…and a camera. Class limit: 12

One Saturday, May 12 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Location will be sent to registrants. Fee: $10.00

"Spring Courses"

All yoga students of Jim Holley should know that his classes were inadvertently left out of the course descriptions in the spring catalogue.  If you turn to the back inside cover, you will see them both described and the details to register.

Nancy Wottrich, our very popular naturalist/environmentalist, is teaching a six month series, 'Nature Explorations Through the Seasons' actually begins on February 11th....the course will focus on seasonal events in different habitats as the weather changes and summer emerges.

Don't forget April is National Poetry Month.  John Koloski, teacher of literature at the high school and published poet, is teaching a 4 week course on Great American Poets on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.

There are 60 courses in the spring catalogue!   This is a record for the adult school and we so hope you will find some interesting new ideas for you to consider...as well as those continuing courses that provide a progression of experiences and learning."
